Refuge of Jews between Arturo Alessandri and Pedro Aguirre Cerda. Institutionality, Conjunctures and Political Actors (1938-1941)
Publicado 2022“…The present work addresses the dynamics of reception of the Jews who escaped from Europe between 1938 and 1940, from a political-institutional perspective. Through Historical Institutionalism and the analysisof documentary sources, it is shown that the open doors policy of the Popular Front came to an abrupt halt and ended up reinforcing the restriction on Jewish immigration, as had happened during the government of Arturo Alessandri Palma.…”
