“…It is also focused on teenagers and young adults, since the figures of our country indicate that the largest number of young people who report having experienced psychological violence belong to these age groups.Regarding the method, an intentional convenience sample was used as well as a transversal qualitative descriptive design. The results of the study show that, although at a discursive level religion could be configured as a protective factor around values given by the bible, there are rigid beliefs about gender roles, which could be configured as a factor of risk for the development of violence. …”
