“…Mental health emerged as one of the dimensions in which migrant mothers present risk factors associated with the contradictions between the models of motherhood promoted by the health services and those implemented by Haitian women, the feeling of loneliness, and the loss of networks that live in the migratory context and exposure to unwanted pregnancies due to lack of access of the Chilean health system and situations of domestic violence, against which women have little capacity to report. The findings show the need to develop strategies to detect problems regarding mental health problems in migrant women, as well as the lack of access to contraception and information regarding their sexual and reproductive rights.…”
