Sumario:This article describes the design of a global, month-long online expedition and integrally designed action research inquiry about a new operating system for the city. The article includes selections from the producers' private logs, tracking how a multi-national team unfolded an evolutionary mission using the dictum of "take care of self, other, and place." The article offers a vision of what it takes to operationalize a Kosmocentric vision for non-local partnership, worldcentric curriculum development, and city-centric relationships. The collective intelligence that emerged at every stage of the project and that is now emerging in local and online learning habitats is discussed in detail.
