Sumario:The article discusses the study that explores the association between the asymptomatic typhoid carriers and the socioeconomic status in India. It states that suspected individuals who suffered typhoid, including food handlers, milk men and roadside vendors, were included in the study. Results reveal the importance to follow health education programmes, vaccination and hygienic practices to prevent the problem of typhoid, particularly in the developing countries.
