| Sumario: | The inclusion of love letters in Curial e Güelfa, as well as in the Catalan chivalresque novel, is a literary element whose function is not only confined to the communication between lovers, but also it can activate the plot, cause dramatic reactions and draw the characters' psycological makeup. Novel love letters start with the novel itself, the last genre in ancient Greece, and Curial shows these kind of letters greatly influenced by the works of main Greek novelists. La inclusió de cartes d'amor al Curial e Güelfa, així com a la novel la cavalleresca catalana, és un element literari la funció del qual no només es limita a la comunicació entre els enamorats, sinó que també és capaç de dinamitzar la trama, provocar reaccions dramàtiques i configurar la psicologia dels personatges. Les cartes d'amor a la novel la sorgeixen juntament amb el mateix gènere, l'últim de la Grècia antiga, i el Curial, consegüentment, també en presenta, directament influenciat per les obres dels principals novel-listes grecs. |
