Sumario:	The article discusses the economic conditions of Jews in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (GDL), the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (PLC) and Poland as creditors and debtors during the 17th and 18th centuries. An overview of economic-related laws in the GDL, PLC and Poland, including a statutory law prohibiting what Jews could ask for interest rates, is provided.
