It is intended, first, to describe queer identity from the theoretical perspective of the author, second, evaluate some of his narrative texts, especially the story "Furiosos en dos meses", included in the second edition of the stories book Angeles Negros. The theoretical analysis is based on the concept of performativity, questioning the difference between Sutherland's essay and literary discourse, making his text production a hybrid and continuum writing, defined as performative speech act. The analysis focuses on the referential condition of the pointed story, given some paratextual indications that the narrator includes in his act of enunciation. Este artículo analiza los textos ensayísticos del libro Nación Marica, de Juan Pablo Sutherland. Se intenta, en primer lugar, describir la identidad queer desde la perspectiva teórica del autor para, en segundo lugar, evaluar algunos textos de su producción narrativa, en especial el cuento "Furiosos en dos meses", incluido en la segunda edición del libro de cuentos Ángeles negros. El análisis teórico se fundamenta en el concepto de performatividad, cuestionando la diferencia entre discurso ensayístico y discurso literario en Sutherland, haciendo de su producción textual un conjunto híbrido y continuo de escritura, definido como acto discursivo performativo.
