This article reviews the conditions often encountered in emergency medicine for lung cancer and it also examines responses to deal with those conditions. Review, and Conclusion: This study examined drainage and pleurodesis to deal with pleural effusions. This study considered drainage and intrapericardial injection of antineoplastic drugs to deal with cardiac tamponade, and it examined stent placement or chemotherapy and radiotherapy to deal with superior vena cava syndrome. This study examined stereotactic radiation therapy (e.g. CyberKnife or gamma knife) and whole-brain irradiation to deal with brain metastasis and it examined intrathecal administration of antineoplastic drugs to deal with carcinomatous meningitis. Endoscopic therapy was used to deal with airway narrowing. These complications span a number of medical specialties and require a system that facilitates cooperation with specialists in different fields. pubtype: Academic Journal doctype: review Journal Article ougenre: Article language: English refInfo: holdings: @attributes: islocal: N |
