Sumario:Publishers in Great Britain were hopeful that the Department for Culture, Media and Sport would put forward amendments to the Libraries Bill to make it more publisher-friendly in the first week of July 2003. The private members bill is to go through its third parliamentary reading on July 4, 2003. These amendments — specifically on the provisions for legal deposit — are the result of lobbying by the Publishers Association, part of the Digital Content Forum, as well as the Periodical Publishers Association and the Association of Online Publishers.
