The majority of nonHodgkin's lymphomas of the ocular adnexa are extranodal marginal zone B-cell lymphomas of the mucosa associated lymphoid tissue, also known as MALT lymphoma. In 8% of cases, it arises from the conjunctiva. Lymphoid tumors of the conjunctiva may appear as isolated neoplasms or a part of a systemic disease.
