Ma te ri al and Met hods: Thirty-six pa ti ents (20 females and 16 males) who did not ha ve any ocu lar or syste mic di sor der ot her than al ler gic con junc ti vi tis we re en rol led in the study, ages of the pa ti ents ran ged from 24 to 35 ye ars. Pa ti ents ran domly re ce i ved tre at ment to one eye with KT 0.4% and to the ot her eye with KT 0.5%. Pa ti ents we re eva lu a ted af ter one we ek and symptoms, signs be fo re and af ter the tre at ment, drug re la ted ad ver se ef fects and in to le ran ce we re as ses sed. Re sults: Although the signs and symptoms of the al ler gic con junc ti vi tis in both eyes im pro ved sig ni fi cantly, it did not re co - ver comp le tely in 77.8% of the pa ti ents. Eit her con cen tra ti ons of the KT so lu ti ons did not ca u se any ad ver se ef fect or sig ni fi cant in to le ran ce that might ca u se ces sa ti on of tre at ment. Com pa rab - le mild drug in to le ran ce for both KT so lu ti ons, was reported by 41.7% of the cases while 50.0% of the pa ti ents re por ted bet ter to le ran ce for KT 0.4%, 8.3% of the pa ti ents re por ted bet ter to le - ran ce for KT 0.5%. Conc lu si on: Both con cen tra ti ons of the KT so lu ti ons pro vi ded par ti al cli ni cal im pro ve ment of al ler gic con junc ti vi tis but did not ca u se any ad ver se ef fect.
