His current research interests centre on the reduction of process and product complexity during the IT development process. He also carries out research into computer security, concentrating on issues in security management. He is the author of twenty-two books on software development and over 110 articles on software engineering. During the early part of his career, he wrote for the The Guardian, The Times and The Independent on technology topics. He was co-opted to the British Munro review on child protection working on the ICT stream. Aled Griffiths is a Senior Lecture in Law and Social Policy at the University of Bangor and lectures on social work law. His research interests and publication profile include books and articles on community care and human rights.
