Sumario:Computers company, Microsoft Corp. has set out to stimulate the ebook market by offering free downloads of about 60 frontlist titles in summer of 2003. The U.S.-based marketing promotion includes recent bestsellers Bill Bryson's 'A Short History of Nearly Everything,' and Margaret Atwood's 'The Blind Assassin.' These books have been offered in conjunction with their U.S. publishers, but downloads may be made from computer terminals in any country. The promotion raises the issue of territorial and digital rights for ebooks.
