ab: Millions of children worldwise have been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and are prescribed stimulant medications. Frequently there are additional co-morbid diagnoses, resulting in additional pharmaceutical prescriptions for antidepressant, anti-anxiety, antipsychotic, anticonvulsant, and other medications. The authors are homeopathic physicians specializing in treating this population of children and have found homeopathy to be an effective alternative in many cases, either instead of, or as an adjunct to psychiatric medications. In addition to offering practical guidelines for homeopathic practitioners, a clinical case history of a child with ADHD is included.
