The knowledge portal facilitates the ability to create transparency in hospitals' different sectors. A process management toll (ProMT) that is available for all employes enables, for example, the joint handling and visualisation of important processes in the scope of optimisation measures. Using the example of the implementation of the expert standard pain management in nursing, this contribution illustrates how an occupational group-overlapping process modelling may be organised and implemented within the knowledge portal through the help of ProMT.
