| Sumario: | 'Customer service work and gerontechnology' project focuses on abilities of professionals with-in elderly care to benefit from technology in their work. The project is funded by The Finnish Work-place Development Programme TYKES (2004-2009). Examples of gerontechnology are computers and customer information systems as well as various safety alarm systems. Within this project, various effects of technology use are assessed with the help of methodologies of Human Impact Assessment (HuIA). The project deals with organizations of all sectors of elderly care: public, private and third sector organizations. |
