| Sumario: | The ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) Practice Analysis Advisory Committee recently completed a job analysis using a task inventory survey mailed to randomly selected CT technologists. This article is a summary of the major findings from the 2001 survey, as well as a comparison with, finding us from a similar survey mailed in 1993. Results indicate that CT departments employed more technologists as well as ancillary staff and performed more difficult studies on more sophisticated equipment. Many of the most common imaging procedures remained stable across both surveys. |
