| Summary: | With the global emphasis on quality care based on evidence, this pilot project aimed to examine changes in nursing practice following dissemination and implementation of clinical guidelines. The project implemented a fall prevention guideline in an acute care hospital. Fall preventive nursing practice of the hospital was compared before and after implementation of the guidelines. Results about the changes in nursing practice are discussed in terms of the methods and processes of dissemination and implementation, as well as the features of the guidelines.
