With 150,000 books already catalogued, the company expects to achieve the one million target by 2005, thereby helping to boost sales. The rare and second-hand specialist has led the Irish book trade in the development of its Internet business. The company aims to improve sales from 15,000 books a year to 200,000 though the Internet. The new systems allow for rapid cataloguing of books using OCLC codes, increasing the cataloguing rate from 2,500 to 5,000 per week. Searches can be made by author, title, keyword, contents and according to the condition of books.
