      ab: All the appointments, present in the article, come within various UNESCO field programmes and inquiries should be directed to the Recruitment Division, Bureau of Personnel, UNESCO, quoting the reference code. Travel costs, installation and repatriation grants as well as other benefits are paid by UNESCO. At the University of Rangoon a professor of economics who will be invited to perform the following duties: to plan and develop a programme of courses in economic planning, particularly for the students preparing a Master degree in economics and a diploma in economic planning, to give courses on the mentioned subject to post-graduate classes and to conduct seminars on problems of economic planning with the faculty members of the university. A specialist is required in computer sciences department. The Technion is interested in developing a graduate teaching and research programme in computer sciences, to provide for the training of future Israeli professionals and researchers in this field and to develop a research programme to deal with significant problems related to Israel's needs, and a source of expertise on which government, industry and educators can draw. An expert is required to help start this programme, limited in the first instance to the broad area of computer applications, such as business data processing, simulation, numerical analysis, programming and soft-ware systems, and information processing.
