Travel costs, installation and repatriation grants as well as other benefits are paid by UNESCO. At the University of Rangoon a professor of economics who will be invited to perform the following duties: to plan and develop a programme of courses in economic planning, particularly for the students preparing a Master degree in economics and a diploma in economic planning, to give courses on the mentioned subject to post-graduate classes and to conduct seminars on problems of economic planning with the faculty members of the university. A specialist is required in computer sciences department. The Technion is interested in developing a graduate teaching and research programme in computer sciences, to provide for the training of future Israeli professionals and researchers in this field and to develop a research programme to deal with significant problems related to Israel's needs, and a source of expertise on which government, industry and educators can draw.
