| Sumario: | This article analyzes "Rotología del poroto" by Pablo de Rokha. Our contention states that the bean works as a multiple and complex metaphor, allowing the poetic voice to refer to the nation, the working-class subjects and the political project of the revolution. Each of these categories takes place in a production context marked by the presence of the hacienda and the Cold War scenario. Additionally, the article analyzes how the poem, at the time of enunciation by the speaker, builds a counterpoint between the Chile of yesterday and today to articulate a social protest speech in favor of the working-class subjects of the national community. En el artículo se analiza "rotología del poroto" de Pablo de rokha y se propone que el poroto funciona como una metáfora múltiple y compleja, que permite a la voz poética referirse a la nación, los sujetos populares y el proyecto político de la revolución. Todo lo anterior en un contexto de producción marcado por la presencia de la hacienda y el escenario de la Guerra Fría. También se analiza cómo en el poema se construye un contrapunto entre el Chile de ayer y el Chile contemporáneo al momento de enunciación del hablante, con el fin de articular un discurso de denuncia social a favor de los sujetos populares de la comunidad nacional. |
