Does Translation Have a Future in the Post-Historical Society?

The author explores the connections between philosopher Vilém Flusser's theories on language and the media which he developed while he lived in Brazil and after his return to Europe, respectively, and looks at possible ways of applying the ideas to his conception of post-historical society.
