Sumario:The article focuses on motion capture which is used as a cinematic technique in which gestures of a subject are mapped onto virtual characters. It states that phantom limb and techniques of motion capture complicate the ways in which body image serves to demarcate individual identity. It mentions that medical and scientific animations depict objects that are invisible to the human eye and real-time digital encoding and animation is ontologically and different from analog cinematic.
