To carry out the study a survey questionnaire was designed and three public and three private secondary level school students were randomly selected. The major objective of the study was to compare the attitude and perception of the public and private secondary school students about using the mobile phone in general and for educational purpose. To achieve the objective of the study a twenty item questionnaire was developed and validated. The data was personally collected by the researchers from the three hundred students one hundred from three public secondary school students as well as same quantity from the three private secondary school students.
