Method: 218 students were subjected to a survey using a questionnaire and the data obtained was evaluated by using the Logit model. Result and Conclusion: According to the Logit model results among various variables used, the student's age, mother's, father's and brother's / sister's occupational status, the monthly income of family, the monthly amount of money passing in the hands of student were found statistically significant variables on determining the ownership of a credit card.
