The data obtained in this study were analysed using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) using the program for Windows 22.0. In the analysis of the data, number, percentage and mean standard deviation were used as descriptive statistical methodologies. For the comparison of continuous quantitative data among more than two independent groups Unidirectional (One way) ANOVA test was used. The Scheffe Test, a post-hoc analysis, was used as complementary post-test to determine the differences. The correlation analysis was applied between continuous variables in this study. The findings were understood to be at 5% significance level in the 95% confidence interval. The results of the research led to creating a map showing renewable energy trends in the Metropolitan cities of Samsun, Ordu and Trabzon in Central and Eastern Black Sea Region. As a result, it is seen that majority of the businesses have the awareness of renewable energy. It is found that there is a search for appropriate grounds to make investments related to renewable energy. It is understood that more needs to be done by the Government mechanism to encourage SMEs businesses. Bu araştırmada, Orta ve Doğu Karadeniz Bölgesinde büyükşehirlerdeki KOBİ'lerde yenilenebilir enerji eğilimi üzerine bir çalışma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Samsun, Ordu ve Trabzon Büyükşehir İl sınırları dahilinde bulunan 92 adet Orta Ölçekli KOBİ'lerle online ve yüz yüze görüşme yapılarak gerçekleştirilen araştırmada çarpıcı sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) Windows 22.0 programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistiksel yöntemleri olarak sayı, yüzde, ortalama, standart sapma kullanılmıştır. İkiden fazla bağımsız grup arasında niceliksel sürekli verilerin karşılaştırılmasında Tek yönlü (One way) ANOVA testi kullanılmıştır. ANOVA testi sonrasında farklılıkları belirlemek üzere tamamlayıcı post-hoc analizi olarak Scheffe testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sürekli değişkenleri arasında korelasyon analizi uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular %95 güven aralığında, %5 anlamlılık düzeyinde değerlendirilmiştir. Yapılan araştırma sonunda Orta ve Doğu Karadeniz Bölgesinde bulunan Samsun, Ordu ve Trabzon Büyük Şehirlerinde Yenilenebilir Enerji eğiliminin haritası çıkarılmıştır. Sonuç olarak işletmelerin büyük bölümü yenilenebilir enerji farkındalığına sahip olduğu görülmüştür. Yenilenebilir enerji ile ilgili yatırım yapabilmek için uygun zemin aradığı anlaşılmıştır.
