The growing importance of Helicobacter Pylori.

The author reflects on the cultivation of a gram-negative, microaerophilic bacterium Helicobacter pylori in the body that causes diseases including chronic gastritis, gastric malts and peptic ulcers, and discusses the complications of eradicating the bacteria due to their drug resistance properties.
