However, as an emerging profession but with some degree of maturity, must face several challenges such as consolidating an ethical framework for action for its practitioners. This work focuses on the analysis of ethical considerations in context of project management. The analysis can contribute to the understanding, by governments, professional organizations, educational institutions, researchers and project managers about the ethical requirements of the profession of project management, considering the project manager as a change agent with soft skills related to leadership and development of a team of collaborators and negotiation processes with different stakeholder groups, which generate conflicting ethical issues throughout the project life cycle. Likewise, discussion and analysis allow recommending to institutions, researchers and professionals in project management, ethics aimed at positioning the body of knowledge of the discipline. La gestión de proyectos es una de las disciplinas que en los últimos años más ha evolucionado en lo relacionado con educación, estándares de buenas practicas y certificaciones (Helgadóttir, 2008). Sin embargo, como profesión emergente pero con algún grado de madurez, debe enfrentarse a varios retos como el consolidar un marco ético de actuación para sus practicantes. Este trabajo se enfoca al análisis de las consideraciones éticas en contexto de la gestión de proyectos. El análisis realizado permite contribuir al entendimiento, por parte de gobiernos, organizaciones de profesionales, instituciones educativas, investigadores y directores de proyecto, acerca de las necesidades éticas de la profesión de gestión de proyectos, considerando al gerente de proyectos como un agente de cambio con habilidades blandas relacionadas con el liderazgo y el desarrollo de un equipo de colaboradores y con procesos de negociación con diferentes grupos de interesados, en donde se ve enfrentado a situaciones éticas conflictivas, durante todo el ciclo de vida del proyecto.
