Sumario:The article compares the numbers of falls with data from 2011, looks at three industries with a high incidence of falls, distinguishes between fatal and nonfatal falls, and briefly discusses the occupations and demographics of workers who fall to lower levels. Information about the falls to lower levels in 2013, nonfatal falls to a lower level, and data on occupational injuries and illnesses and on fatal occupational injuries collected by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) is provided.
