Screening model was used as the method of this study. During the study, prospective teachers were initially given questions about their personal situations, and then the "educational internet use self-sufficiency beliefs scale" and the "modern teacher characteristics scale" were implemented. While analysing the data; frequency (f) and percentages (%) were presented with the help of tables and means, standard deviation points, independent samples t test, one–way analysis of variance were used. Relations between academic success and educational internet use, modern teacher characteristics and success were analyzed using the Pearson correlation. The study was conducted with 314 participants who enrolled in the formation programme at Gaziosmanpaşa University during 2014-2015 academic years and participated in the survey voluntarily. When the educational internet use of prospective teachers graduated from the formation programme are examined, it is observed that averages vary between the lowest of 2.70 and highest of 4.16; whereas, when findings in perceptions related to modern teacher characteristics are examined, it is seen that averages vary between the lowest of 3.84 and highest of 4.20. No significant difference was found between the age, gender, owning a computer, internet usage frequency and internet usage session length variables and the perceptions of modern teacher characteristics. It was found that students graduated from the formation programme have a general grade average above 75. Bu çalışmaPedagojik Formasyon Eğitimi programından mezun olmuş öğrencilerin eğitsel internet kullanım öz yeterlik inançlarını ve çağdaş öğretmen niteliklerine ilişkin algılarını tespit etmek ve bu inanç ve algıların başarıyla olan ilişkisini belirlemeyi amaçlamıştır. Çalışmada yöntem olarak tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada öğretmen adaylarına ilk olarak; kişisel durumları ile ilgili sorular, sorulmuş ve “eğitsel internet kullanım öz-yeterliği inançları ölçeği” ve “çağdaş öğretmen nitelikleri” şeklinde iki farklı ölçek kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi sırasında tablolar yardımıyla frekans (f) ve yüzdeler (%) verilerek, aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapma puanları, bağımsız gruplar t testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Akademik başarı ile eğitsel internet kullanımı, çağdaş öğretmen nitelikleri ile başarı arasındaki ilişki Pearsonkorelasyonu kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma 2014-2015 öğretim yılı Gaziosmanpaşa üniversitesinde gerçekleşen formasyon programında kayıtlı ve anketleri gönüllü olarak dolduran 314 katılımcı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Formasyon programından mezun öğretmen adaylarının eğitsel internet kullanımına ilişkin öz yeterlik inançlarının ilgili ortalamalarının en düşük 2,70 ile en yüksek 4,16 arasında değiştiği ve çağdaş öğretmen nitelikleri ilişkin algılarıyla ilgili ortalamalarının en düşük 3,84 ile en yüksek 4,20 arasında değiştiği görülmektedir. Eğitsel internet kullanımı yaş, cinsiyet, bilgisayar sahibi olma, internet kullanma sıklığı ve internete her girişte geçirilen süre değişkenleri ile çağdaş öğretmen nitelikleri algıları arasında anlamlı fark bulunamamıştır.
