The Effect of a Community-Based Program on the Development of At-Risk Preschoolers.
The Developmental Enhancement, Monitoring, and Screening (DEMS) program is an initiative that offers comprehensive services to at-riskfamilies in the Brooklyn community by providing developmental enhancement activities to young children and educational training to their parents.
