Sumario:The article describes the process to develop the Current Population Survey (CPS) questions and discusses the early work on question development that was done by the Interagency Working Group on Expanded Measures of Enrollment and Attainment (GEMEnA). It describes the work performed by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics to adapt the questions that GEMEnA developed to the CPS and the acceptance and development of a proposal to add the questions.
