One of the top objectives that emphasized in the Common Europan Framework of Reference is constructivist approach and in order to achieve the objectives of the foreign language programs it is strongly emphasized that not only cognitive domain such as motivation of learners, self-efficacy and self-regulation. Self-efficacy belief is the most important driving force that bear person's motivation and accordingly person's success. Strong segf-efficacy belief will increase motivation und confidence that it will be successful, will support positive thinking and the abilitiy to cope with problems of the people. Strong self-efficacy belief increasesthe learning power. In this study it is aimed to determine the self-efficacy belief of German Language Education students. Teacher candidates students who studying in the Departmant of German Language Education at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University formed the universe of the working. Self-efficacy beliefs of students of German Language Education, who learn German to teach, are carried out utilizing a scale in descriptive survey model. Theacher candidate students' self-efficacy beliefs about German are on the middle level. Students' self-efficacy beliefs are at most speaking, then respectively writing, reading and at least in listening dimension. Students can answer questions about a German text, but they have difficulty understanding academic texts. In the field of writing skill students are able to express themselves in the daily life, but they have difficulty writing a pragraph and essay. The most challenging part must have been listening skills for students. German don't become different significantly according to the high school type they graduated from. In consequence of analysis of self-efficacy belief about German according to the class variable. The difference between mean rank of classes is found statistically significant. The results obtained from research results shows that generally self-efficacy of students were considered important during learning in department working on this subject was done. Yapılandırmacı yaklaşımda öğrenme süreci, öğrencinin tutum ve inançlarını, deneyim ve yeteneklerini ortaya koyması gereken bir karar verme sürecidir. Yapılandırmacı yaklaşımı temel alan bir eğitim programının başarılı olabilmesi için, her şeyden önce öğrenenin öz yeterlik inancının yüksek olması gerekir. Güçlü öz yeterlik inancı, motivasyonu ve başarılı olunacağına dair güveni arttıracak, akabinde kişinin olumlu düşünme ve sorunlarla başa çıkma becerisini destekleyecektir. Öz yeterliğin, başarıyı doğrudan etkileyen en başat itici güç olduğu söylenebilir. Bu çalışmada Alman Dili Eğitimi öğrencilerinin öz yeterlik inançlarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Muğla Sıtkı Koçman Üniversitesi Alman Dili Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı'nda öğrenim gören öğretmen adayı öğrenciler araştırmanın evrenini oluşturmuştur. Araştırma bir ölçekten yararlanılarak betimsel tarama modelinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, öğretmen adayı öğrencilerin Almanca ile ilgili öz yeterlik inançları orta düzeyin üzerinde çıkmıştır. Almanca ile ilgili öz yeterlik inançları en fazla konuşma, daha sonra sırasıyla, yazma, okuma ve en az da dinleme alt boyutundadır. Öğrenciler, Almanca bir metinle ilgili soruları cevaplayabiliyorlar, ancak akademik metinleri anlamakta güçlük çekiyorlar. Yazma becerisi alanında, öğrenciler günlük yaşamda kendilerini ifade edebiliyorlar, ancak bir paragraf ve kompozisyon yazmakta güçlük çekiyorlar. Öğrenciler, anadili Almanca olan bir kişinin anlayacağı şekilde Almanca konuşabilirim konusunda da çekingen davranmışlardır. Katılımcıların Almanca ile ilgili öz yeterlik inançlarına ilişkin görüşleri, yazma ve dinleme alt boyutlarında anlamlı düzeyde farklılaşmamaktadır. Almanca ile ilgili öz yeterlik inancının sınıf değişkenine göre incelenmesi sonucunda, sınıfların sıra ortalaması arasındaki fark istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunmuştur.
