Drawing on different ideas about a location of architectural objects of cultural and public significance methodological location selection principles have been developed, Those principles could have been used in the open competition of 2012 to select a location for Kaunas Congress, Conference and Concert Hall. Siekiant bent iš dalies laikinai kompensuoti tam tikras teritorijų planavimo dokumentų spragas, straipsnyje pateikiama galima alternatyvi supaprastinta urbanistinio socialinio tyrimo metodika, pravarti parenkant žiūrovinės paskirties objektams tinkamiausią vietą mieste.
