| Sumario: | In this article, clothing in the Urartian State which was founded mainly in the basin of Lake Van between 9th-7thcenturies B.C. has been evaluated in socio-cultural aspect. This evaluation has been carried out in the light of depicted works, statuettes, archaeological findings and written sources found so far. It is possible to get information about clothes, headgear, shoes and clothing accessories of that period by these data including clothing. In the study, it has been tried to be clarified issues such as gender discrimination in clothing, functions of clothing, factors affecting clothing, production of these and producers in the Urartian society. Additionally, it has been understood that main factors affecting clothing were geographical conditions, social class difference and gender in Urartu. Thus, it has been tried to be unveiled the world of clothing which we thought that it had a significant role in the life of the Urartians. Bu makalede M.Ö. 9-7. yüzyıllar arasında Van Gölü Havzası merkez olmak üzere kurulmuş olan Urartu devletinde giyim kuşam sosyo-kültürel açıdan değerlendirilmiştir. Bu değerlendirme bugüne kadar ele geçen tasvirli eserler, heykelcikler, arkeolojik buluntular ve yazılı kaynaklar ışığında yapılmıştır. Giyim kuşamı içeren söz konusu verilerden dönemin elbiseleri, başlıkları, ayakkabıları ve giysi aksesuarları hakkında bilgi edinmek mümkün olmaktadır. Çalışmada Urartu toplumunda giyim kuşamda cinsiyet ayrımı, giyim kuşamın işlevleri, giyim kuşamı etkileyen faktörler, bunların üretimi ve üreticilerine açıklık getirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca Urartu da coğrafi şartlar, sosyal sınıf farkı ve cinsiyetin giyimi etkileyen faktörlerin başında geldiği anlaşılmıştır. Böylelikle Urartuluların yaşamında önemli bir yeri olduğunu düşündüğümüz giyim kuşam dünyası aralanmaya çalışılmıştır. |
