| Sumario: | Objective: to understand the social representations built by the elderly on care in the Family Health Units. Method: this is an exploratory study with a qualitative approach, carried out with 102 elderly people assisted in the Family Health Strategy of Natal - RN and subsidized by the contribution of Theory of Social Representations. The data were obtained through the Free Word Association Test and semi-structured interview and analyzed with the help of EVOC software. Results: it was verified that the contents and the representational structure regarding the care in the Family Health Units were essentially negative. Conclusions: the poor organizational structure of the services, the precarious physical structure of the unit, among other problems shown in this study, contribute to the construction of negative representations about care in the Family Health Units. Objetivo: comprender las representaciones sociales construidas por ancianos sobre el atendimiento en las Unidades de Salud de la Familia. Método: estudio exploratorio, de enfoque cualitativo, realizado con 102 ancianos asistidos en la Estrategia Salud de la Familia de Natal -- RN y subsidiado por el aporte de la Teoría de las Representaciones Sociales. Los datos fueron obtenidos por medio del Test de Asociación Libre de Palabras y entrevista semi-estructurada, y analizados con el auxilio del software EVOC. Resultados: se verificó que los contenidos y la estructura representacional acerca del atendimiento en las Unidades de Salud de la Familia se mostraron esencialmente negativas. Conclusiones: la deficitaria estructura organizacional de los servicios, la precaria estructura física de la unidad, entre otros problemas mostrados en ese trabajo, colaboron para la construcción de representaciones negativas sobre el atendimiento en las Unidades de Salud de la Familia. Objetivo: apreender as representações sociais construídas por idosos sobre o atendimento nas Unidades de Saúde da Família. Método: estudo exploratório, de abordagem qualitativa, realizado com 102 idosos assistidos na Estratégia Saúde da Família de Natal/RN e subsidiado pelo aporte da Teoria das Representações Sociais. Os dados foram obtidos por meio do Teste de Associação Livre de Palavras e entrevista semiestruturada e analisados com o auxílio do software EVOC. Resultados: verificou-se que os conteúdos e a estrutura representacional acerca do atendimento nas Unidades de Saúde da Família mostraram-se essencialmente negativas. Conclusões: a deficitária estrutura organizacional dos serviços, a precária estrutura física da unidade, dentre outros problemas mostrados neste trabalho, colaboram para a construção de representações negativas sobre o atendimento nas Unidades de Saúde da Família. |
