      ab: In einem Umfeld immer kürzer werdender Produktzyklen und stetigen Wachstums im Dienstleistungssektor ist die Innovationsfähigkeit von Unternehmen ein zentraler Erfolgsfaktor für Unternehmen. Um die erforderliche Innovationsfähigkeit zu erreichen, wird es für Firmen und Organisationen notwendig neue Quellen für Produkt- und Dienstleistungsideen zu erschließen. Dabei dient das Internet und speziell webbasierte Innovationsplattformen als ein wirkungsvolles Kommunikationswerkzeug, um unterschiedliche Menschen zusammenzubringen und bei der Entwicklung von Ideen zu unterstützen. Im Rahmen der hier vorgestellten Forschung wurde die webbasierte Innovationsplattform „Co-Create Uni Kassel!“ entwickelt. Die Plattform bietet ein innovatives Werkzeug, das die Nutzer durch einen Kollaborationsprozess begleitet, der die Teilnehmer dabei unterstützt einfache aber originelle Ideen auf der Plattform in wertvolle und gut ausgearbeitete Projektvorschläge auszuarbeiten. Die Ergebnisse der durchgeführten Forschung zeigen, wie wirkungsvoll gute werkzeugunterstützte Kollaborationsmechanismen auf webbasierten Plattformen sind, um Qualität und Ausarbeitungsgrad der dort entwickelten Ideen zu verbessern.
