Complicated grief group therapy is a multimodal group psychotherapy designed to restore normal grieving in persons with complicated grief. Using video data, we evaluated transition points in psychotherapy associated with meaning reconstruction: retelling the narrative of the death, having an imaginal conversation with the deceased, and memory integration.
