The author analyzed iron-complexes on the territory between the Upper Prut and Middle Dniester, based on the characteristic of workshops related to the extraction and processing of bog ore, such as laminitis in Lenkovtsy, Chernovka, Klishkovtsy. It is postulated that the ore mining and iron production remained predominantly rural activity. One of the centers of iron processing was in Lenkovtsy on the Prut, where 16 "pitfalls" for firing ore were found. Iron-forges ground type, facilities, warehouses for storage of ball iron were revealed. The author analyzes workshops that processed pig iron, namely the blacksmith shops in Revno (10 century), Chernovka (12 -- early 13 centuries.). Tools of blacksmiths and locksmiths are characterized and typology of household items related to the steel industry is offered. În articol este discutată dezvoltarea uneia din ramurile de bază a meşteşugului vechi rusesc, şi anume metalurgia fierului. Sunt analizate complexele de prelucrare a fierului de pe teritoriul interfluviului Prutul Superior şi Nistrul de Mijloc. Este prezentată caracteristica atelierelor, legate de dobândirea şi prelucrarea minereului de baltă -- laminitului în Lencăuţi pe Prut, Cernovka, Klişkovţî şi alte monumente, Se postulează, că dobândirea minereului şi producerea fierului rămâneau a fi preponderent o îndeletnicire rurală. Unul din centrele de prelucrare a fierului era Lencăuţul de pe Prut, unde au fost descoperite 16 cuptoare în gropi de tip „groapă de lup" pentru arderea minereului. Tot aici sunt descoperite şi cuptoare de suprafaţă de topit fier, construcţii-depozite pentru păstrarea lupelor de fier. Sunt analizate atelierele de prelucrare a fierului căpătat prin topire, anume fierăriile din Revno (sec. X) şi Cernovka (sec. XII -- prima jumătate a sec. XIII). Este făcută caracteristica setului de instrumente a fierarilor şi lăcătuşilor, precum şi tipologia obiectelor cotidiene, legate de metalurgia fierului. В статье рассматривается развитие одной из ведущих отраслей древнерусского ремесла, а именно черной метал- лургии. Анализируются железообрабатывающие комплексы на территории междуречья Верхнего Прута и Среднего Днестра. Дана характеристика мастерских, связанных с добычей и обработкой болотной руды -- ламинита в Ленков- цах на Пруте, Черновке, Клишковцах и на других памятниках. Постулируется, что добыча руды и производство железа оставалось преимущественно сельским промыслом. Одним из центров обработки железа были Ленковцы на Пруте, где обнаружено 16 ямных горнов типа «волчьих ям» для обжига руды. Тут же выявлены железоплавильные горны назем- ного типа, сооружения-склады для хранения кричного железа. Анализируются мастерские по обработке выплавлен- ного железа, а именно кузницы в Ревно (Х в.) и Черновке (ХІІ -- первой половины ХІІІ вв.).
