Sumario:The article discusses the authors' views about the need for the distributed systems research community to improve the state of the art in fault tolerance testing as of 2018, and it mentions how ordinary users need the tools to automate the selection of custom-tailored faults to inject. Cloud software applications, Chaos Engineering, and computer failures are assessed, along with the Jepsen fault-injection testing technique and the superusers that are known as Chaos Engineers.
