| Sumario: | The necessity of describing the subject of social action connected with the revealed shortcomings of the modern philosophers of the activity approach is substantiated. Such approach demonstrates the possibility of substituting a research object. So that, social activity is considered not as an act, but as a social event that is registered, classified, is statistically determined. The action of the crowd or the individual as a mass person is meaningfully identical to what can be determined by the statement «man acting», but «not thinking». Such an understanding of social action does not reveal meaning, which would be appropriate to the philosophical way of thinking. Thus, the methodological problem is manifested, since in the absence of the foundations of the thought social action, the spiritual reality selflessness, social philosophers have to admit the lack of a method of philosophy.
