However, Mr. Cook, who teaches at the University of Essex, does not adhere to the "zero tolerance approach" to incorrectness pioneered by Lynne Truss. Olivier Nora, publisher at the distinguished French house Grasset, once ran the French publishers' agency in the U.S., attempting to sell rights in French literature.
