Sumario:	I have chosen an invención by the Spanish jouster Fernando de Acuña (c. 1456-1495), the future Viceroy of Sicily, as a fine example of this minimalist genre. I identify the lady to whom it was addressed and place this work within its historical context. In so doing, I discuss the general principles that have to be borne in mind when deciphering such compositions. He escogido una invención por el justador castillano Fernando de Acuña (c. 1456-1495), el futuro virrey de Sicilia, como un ejemplo fino de este género minimalista. Identifico la dama a quien fue dirigida y coloco la obra en su contexto histórico. Haciendo esto, discuto los principios generales que es necesario de tener en consideración para descifrar composiciones de este tipo.
