Publisher John Blake and sales agent Derek Searle have told retailers to sign binding embargo letters for Katie Price's autobiography Being Jordan, to prevent "illegal and frustrating instances of early selling" before 6th May. Publisher Puffin has won British and Commonwealth rights to two new spy adventure books featuring a teenage James Bond. Rights have been signed from Ian Fleming Publications. Anne Applebaum's book "Gulag" has won the 2004 Pulitzer prize for general non-fiction. The fiction award went to Edward Jones' "The Known World." |
