Also, it can be a useful component of treatment for somatic conditions including irritable bowel syndrome, diabetes, fibromyalgia, and chronic pain. The amount and type of clinician support needed for maximizing effectiveness remains unclear. CCBT offers promise for overcoming barriers to delivering effective psychotherapy in medical settings.
