        Este artículo estudia la representación de un linaje monárquico babilónico en el Libro de Alexandre mediante dos elementos estructuradores, la soberbia y Lucifer. Tal estirpe se puede explicar en la obra a través de libros del Antiguo Testamento como Daniel, Isaías y Ezequiel. El objetivo de este estudio es analizar cómo la dimensión moral de la obra se junta con la dimensión monárquica que hasta el momento han sido estudiadas separadamente.
