This paper presents the distinction between organic, esential and personal growth. Based on Leonardo Polo's thought, hope and gift are proposed as the growth logic of the personal act of being and God as the absolute originating growth.

Se distinguen los tipos de crecimiento en el hombre principalmente el orgánico, el de la esencia humana y el del acto de ser personal. Se propone la esperanza y el don como lógica del crecimiento del ser personal y a Dios como crecimiento originario absoluto en continuidad con la propuesta de Leonardo Polo.
