Sumario:The article discusses database reconstruction attacks (DRAs) on public statistical data such as the 2020 U.S. Census Bureau's Census of Population and Housing. Topics include the U.S. Census Bureau's responsibility of protecting the privacy and confidentiality of survey responses, techniques used to protect data confidentiality known as statistical disclosure limitations which include cell suppression and top-coding, and the decision to either publish less information or use noise injection to prevent DRAs.
