AMOS was designed as a teaching tool, which is reflected in its ease of use. Analyzing a set of data with AMOS involves three basic steps. First is the preparation of an input file that contains the data and instructions for method of analysis. Secondly, submission of the AMOS command file for processing. And thirdly inspection of the output file for results of the analysis. All analyses must be batch processed.
